I loved this book! Tons of great advice about college and it was right on time for me as my senior year ends!

This book was a breath of fresh air. It made me and daughter have very intimate conversations about being present and loving the space that we are in together. This book created in me accountability to quit my demanding corporate job and pursue my career on my terms. I am now showing my daughters what it looks like to live a “balanced life… taking care of my body, mind, and spirit”. Thank you AJRozier #thewriter

The book is very good for teenage girls because it shows them they are not alone in some of the situations that they go through. It taught me not to stress about trivial things because life isn’t over and better days, better friends, even better boys are to come. It was reassuring to know that many of the issues I’ve experienced or emotions I’ve felt were not unique to me, because Ms. Ashley went through many of the same things years ago.

This is a book that every adolescent and teen should read. I read it with my daughter and was in awe that so many of the chapters were relatable to her. The book covered several things that she has struggled with from being liked, self-esteem, making poor choices, etc. I was extremely happy that we read the chapter about freshman year together, because I think it gave her a heads up for when she goes to college next year. I think the knowledge dropped had greater impact because it came from someone other than mom. This book is ABSOLUTELY necessary!
